Back Again

So I am such a bad blogger. I get upset when the blogs I don’t read have regular content but my own I can let languish for months at a time with no remorse. I am not sure why this is the case and it really shouldn’t be so I am going to turn over a new leaf. They say that you should do something for yourself every day. I am not sure who “they” are or what qualifications “they” have but really what it could hurt so here it goes.

So since it took everything in me to drag myself out of bed this morning I decided to give myself something to look forward to doing and that will be going to the beach for Memorial Day! Now I have been saying that I am going to do this for several weeks now in fact we may be bordering on saying it for months. But really in my mind it was still an idea and not a really strongly firmed, I am going to do this. Well today it moved into a thing that I am going to make happen! There are several houses available including one that I have stayed in before so why not! Well there is the issue of money but really if I tighten my belt and don’t eat out as much I can scrape the money up. So I sent an e-mail to L & M to see if they are “probable” or “improbable” to join in the fun. There response will allow me to choose the number of rooms that I need and then reserve the house. I am kind of hoping that it works out that I can stay in one of the houses I have in the past but either way even if they can’t join in the fun I am going to go. Either way I am going to be sitting on the beach with some beverages and a good beach read. If they are able to come it will be more fun but either way I think it will be good.

So then the next thing to think about is if I bring Gracie. It will be her first time at the beach if I do bring her. I think it could be fun for her and I to see what she thinks of the beach but then there will be issues of caring for her on the beach. That will mean more stuff to bring. Oh well she is small and other then her water dish and some things for her to chew on how much can one small dog need? Oh yes some potty bags. Note to self if I do take her I MUST remember these.
