We continue to go on

Well the good unemployment news is that my unemployment insurance has gone so much faster! I assumed that as with the past occurrence it would take a month and a half. So when I logged in to process my weekly certification I assumed as always that it would say that I had "active issues". Well it was a nice surprise when I looked in my claim status and there were no active issues. Apparently at least one thing went well.

Now onto the bad things. I still haven't heard from the two leads that I was feeling good about. I don't really understand how two people can call/email you about possible jobs and then just ignore you. Maybe I am just being pessimistic but it is hard not to be that way. Oh well I don't really have the luxury of being pessimistic. Onward!

My plan for this week is to work on my resume. I read that it should be shorter so I am going to make a shorter version. In addition I am thinking that I am going to keep moving forward applying to Meredith. I might not be able to afford it but I am still going to continue moving it forward. My guess is that I won't be able to get all the money I need but at least I can try. It would be nice to at least be accepted even if I end up not being able to afford it. Tell me again why my parents weren't the kind who would pay for college?
