1) I sometimes wonder when I am going to grow up because I am sure people are going to realize soone that I never have.

2) I think that I am a frustrated wedding planner that just doesn't have a wedding to plan. Can I have a new career in this?

3) Somedays when I wake up and have to get ready to go to work I think about not doing it and just going and finding a meaningless life at the beach.

4) My purse must match what I am wearing or I feel off all day!

5) I know I am a slob but really don't want to be one.

6) Before I was 25 I wouldn't eat Chinese food now I couldn't live w/o it.

7) I would be lost w/o my cats and sometimes wake up afraid that something has happened to them. When I go check on them when this happens they both look at me like I am crazy. Perhaps they are trying to tell me that I am!

8) My grandmother had OCD and sometimes I wish I had more of her in me so that I could keep my life more organized.

9) I am addicted to the show, "Whose wedding is it anyway" on the Style Channel.

10) My love of office supplies has gotten out of hand. My co-workers now come to me instead of the supply closet. Hmmmm note to self hide all my supplies!

Living in a Lavendar Scented World

Well last night was another night of maintenance. This time it was a pedicure at Skin Sense. I had a great time. They put these warm herb neck pillows around your neck and they are great. They of course are happy to sell them to you and I was VERY tempted but I just couldn’t justify spending $40 on a neck pillow for myself. Perhaps I will do some web surfing later today and see if I can find one cheaper. Let me just say though when the heat from that pillows works its way down your shoulders as the lavender (at least I think it is) scent lulls you into a feeling of relaxation as they lady is massaging your legs with smelly stuff the $50 seems well worth it! I went with a red that has some brown undertones which I think will look nice with the party outfit I will have on Friday night while still looking nice for all the other holiday events. If you are attending one of the ones at my house and wonder why I am in my bare feet you will understand that I am just trying to get the most out of my $50.
After I was all relaxed and done at Skin Sense I then popped into Target to get some hair color. My plan for tonight is to spend some quality time in hair related tasks. I will be coloring my hair and working on the caterpillars that are also known as my eye brows in preparation for my work party tomorrow night. I know it is a wild life I live!

Manitenance

Well another day another thing to think/stress about. My thing of today is maintenance. There was the home maintenance of my last post which I made no progress. There is the personal maintenance that will be required for the Holiday Party on Friday. All of this maintenance has me thinking about the amount of time I spend just working towards keeping the status quo and not moving forward. I’m not sure if it has been working on my 2007 list that has me thinking about this or what but it has me thinking that I need to make some changes in 2007!

Well that said I will share some of them over the next few days as I work through them in my mind. Mine for today is to not forget to set my alarm clock and have my cats wake me up already late for work!

Back from the Dead

Well for some reason the fact that some of my friends blog has me thinking I need to get back into blogging myself. I mean I scrapbook as a way to track what is happening in my life but who really sees those! Besides ever since I read the postcard on Post Secret that said that the person “hates your scrapbook” I have this horrible fear that one of my friends sent that in. Now I know that I am being crazy!!!

So now that I shared the deep dark secret that I feel like every postcard that could possibly be related to me on Post Secret was sent in by someone that I know onto what craziness is going on today. I spent most of yesterday dealing with holiday fun. I had all my Christmas presents bought I thought but I turned into Crazy Ellen for a little while and didn’t like one of the gifts that I got for a close friend of mine. Because of that I am keeping the gift (because I liked it) and got her something else. You see the gift was great it came from Sephora and was one of their holiday specials but when it came in the mail it looked so small. I mean $50 for two little things that could have fit into your cupped hands doesn’t make a Christmas gift in my mind. I mean come on people it isn’t just the gift but the size of the box sometimes!

After I went through that drama I moved onto the fact that my house was/is WAY out of hand. For some reason I have reverted back to being a teenager and can now live with junk everywhere! When I got home from Briar Creek I walked in to set stuff down on the kitchen table and had to weave in an out of junk. I finally gave in and worked around my apartment last night. I got out the last box of Christmas stuff which allowed me to pack up all the non-Christmas stuff into the bin and hide it away in the closet. I took all the paper products (plates, cups, napkins) and put them all in a bin (56 gallon, I really can’t buy anymore until I use what I have. How many cocktail napkins does one single girl need) and then put all 9 pairs of shoes that were all over the apartment away. Tonight the saga continues as I pick up the coffee table in the living room and horror of horrors tackle the kitchen table. If I get really brave I am going to tackle the kitchen. I will keep you updated on my progress. I know you can’t wait to hear about me folding laundry!
